Project Description

Aims

The project aims to improve digital inclusion practices in rural areas by identifying, analyzing, and disseminating effective strategies for digital education. Through collaboration among educational institutions and local stakeholders, it seeks to provide innovative tools and resources that address the specific needs of rural communities.

The specific aims of the project are:

  • Contribute to enhancing digital inclusion in rural areas by identifying and analyzing existing learning practices and tools.
  • Select and disseminate best practices in digital education to support adult trainers working in rural territories.
  • Develop, test, and publish an online toolkit that offers practical guidance for adult digital education, including learning objectives, target groups, and pedagogical steps.
  • Promote collaboration between public and private organizations to foster the exchange of successful digital education strategies in rural areas.

Target Groups

The target groups involved in the project will be adult trainers in digital education operating in rural territories, adult education centers and social organizations, public bodies and local communities involved in digital inclusion.

Activities and Results

The following activities will be implemented with the related results:

  • Development of a compendium of good practices of digital education in rural areas which encompasses teaching methods, learning tools and new approaches to involve participants in rural territories.
  • Development of online toolkit which includes advices for running digital courses for adult education and a selection of learning tools
